Le programme pour ce cours de 1 jour(s) en Anglais

Work 2x faster and more efficiently as a manager with AI — no technical knowledge required. Use AI not as a tool, but as a working model. Learn how to use AI to work faster, make better decisions and structurally improve the way you work — without any technical knowledge.

WHAT CHANGES AFTER THIS COURSE?

You will be able to:

  • Work faster on routine tasks: Drafting, summarising, preparing, analysing — AI takes over the mechanical work so you can focus on thinking and deciding.
  • Always get usable output: Most people get poor results because they don’t know how to ask. You will learn a simple and reliable way to write prompts that work.
  • Use AI for your real work: Communication, meetings, analysis, planning and problem-solving — fully aligned with what managers do every day.
  • Make better decisions: AI as a sparring partner for scenarios, reasoning and bias detection — so you decide faster and more sharply.
  • Stay in control: AI makes mistakes. You will learn how to recognise, check and prevent errors.
  • Work within the rules: You will receive a clear framework for what you may and may not use AI tools for — and how to stay within your organisation’s guidelines. Including a practical overview of the EU AI Act (Article 4), which requires organisations to train employees who work with AI, and how this course helps you meet that obligation.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

What AI really is (without the hype)

Most managers have heard more about AI than they have actually used it. This module provides clarity and gives an honest picture of what AI is and how to work with it.

  • What AI can and cannot do in your specific role
  • Why AI makes mistakes: hallucinations, bias and limitations
  • The tool landscape: ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude and Grok — when do you use what?
  • How language models work — in plain language, without a technical background
  • How other organisations are already using AI today
  • EU AI Act (in force since February 2025): Article 4 requires organisations to train employees who use AI systems. You will learn what this means in practice for your role — and how this course helps you meet that obligation.

Outcome: Realistic expectations and a better choice of tools as a starting point for the day

From prompts to workflows

One good prompt is not productivity. This module teaches you to think in systems — so that AI structurally saves time on work that matters.

  • Why do individual prompts yield little
  • What an AI workflow is: input → processing → output → review
  • Three working models: AI-assisted, AI-first and human-in-the-loop
  • Practical example: e-mail → analysis → summary → action points
  • Self-analysis: which tasks in your week lend themselves to automation?

Outcome: You think in systems, not in individual prompts

The art of prompting

The difference between useless and powerful AI output almost always lies in the prompt. This module teaches you to master that — focused on use within real workflows.

  • The most important skill: writing effective prompts
    • COSTAR(-F) → best for clear structure & communication
    • Chain-of-Thought → best for reasoning
    • ReAct → best for AI agents/tools
    • CoVe → best for accuracy
    • Prompt chaining → best for complex workflows
  • Consistent output: how to reproduce reliable results
  • Exercise: rewriting weak prompts within real workflows

Outcome: Reliable output that works in your job, every time

AI for your work

The most practical session of the day. You apply AI to realistic management situations — using your own cases as practice material.

  • Communication: drafting e-mails, memos and updates faster and more precisely
  • Meetings: automating preparation, summaries and follow-up actions
  • Analysis: structuring information and turning reports into actionable insights
  • Planning: structuring projects, setting priorities, generating first drafts
  • Problem-solving: breaking down complex situations into manageable steps

Outcome: Direct applicability to at least five tasks from your own work

Decision-making with AI

This is what most AI courses skip — and what benefits you the most. AI does not just make you faster, it makes you sharper.

  • AI as a sparring partner: how to ask better questions
  • Generating and comparing scenarios for difficult choices
  • Testing and sharpening your own reasoning via AI
  • Detecting bias in your approach or in AI output
  • When to follow AI — and when you have the final say

Outcome: Better and faster decisions, with AI as a sounding board

Quality and control

AI makes mistakes. Knowing how to recognise and correct them is essential for professional use.

  • How to recognise convincingly worded errors
  • The 3-check method: accuracy, relevance, intent
  • When to trust AI — and when to verify?
  • The human-in-the-loop principle in practice
  • What to do when errors occur in critical situations

Outcome: A safe and professional way of working with AI

AI in your organisation

Using AI comes with responsibilities. This module makes those concrete and practical.

  • What you should and should not enter into AI tools: boundaries and pitfalls
  • Privacy, confidentiality and intellectual property
  • Working within your organisation’s guidelines
  • Reputational risk: how AI can damage or strengthen your professional image
  • The EU AI Act in practice: what the law requires of your organisation and how to demonstrate compliance

Outcome: You know how to use AI correctly and safely within your organisation

Your AI system

Closing the day with a concrete system you can put into practice tomorrow.

  • Your personal AI roadmap: from pain point to impact
  • Identifying quick wins vs. high-impact applications
  • Designing and documenting your own workflow
  • Building a prompt library for recurring tasks
  • 30-day plan: week 1 apply, week 2 expand, weeks 3–4 optimise
  • Concrete commitment: what will you do tomorrow?

Outcome: You leave with a working system you can apply straight away

Témoignages

  • "My team now communicates faster, more clearly and loses less time on routine work. That is the result of one day of training for five people. The ROI is easy to calculate." — General Manager, SME, 120 employees
  • "What I appreciated was the honesty. No overselling, no promises that AI cannot deliver on. Instead, a very practical framework that I applied the very next morning to my weekly planning and email preparation. A compact day, with lasting results." — Project Manager, consultancy firm
  • "I am not technical and had my doubts. But this training requires no technical knowledge — only the willingness to work differently. The 30-day plan I took with me helped me move beyond good intentions. Three months later I still use AI every day." — HR Director, healthcare institution
